List Faster, Know Your Real Profit: Two AI Tools for eBay Resellers
How AiListPro (AI eBay listings from photos) and AI Flip Ledger (true profit per item) fit together, what each costs, and when you need one, both or neither.
A reselling business has two slow spots. The first is getting items listed: photos, the right model, a title eBay search will match, item specifics, a price. The second is knowing what you kept once they sell: fees, ad fees, labels, refunds and the share of the pallet each item carried.
We built a tool for each, because we hit both problems in our own store. We are AZ Sun Valley Sales, a family reseller in Mesa, Arizona, and we went from $0 to about $159k in eBay sales in 10 months. This article explains how the two tools fit together, what each costs, and, honestly, when you need only one of them or neither.
The two halves of the business
Think of every item as moving through two stages:
- Bought to listed. Cash has left; nothing can come back until the item is live. Speed matters.
- Sold to kept. Cash comes back, minus everything eBay, the carrier and the source took. Accuracy matters.
Most resellers are strong at one of these and weak at the other. Some list fast and have no idea which sources make money. Others keep careful books on a shelf full of unlisted stock.
AiListPro: bought to listed
AiListPro turns photos into an eBay listing draft:
- Upload up to 8 photos (front, back, label, flaws) and an optional note.
- An AI model, Claude by Anthropic, writes the title (inside eBay's 80-character limit), description, item specifics and condition note.
- A price check suggests a price from comparable eBay listings for sale now, with a one-tap link to double-check sold prices.
- You review and edit every field, check eBay's insertion fee for free, and press Publish. It goes live on your own eBay account with your own business policies. Nothing posts without your click, and you connect on eBay's own sign-in page, so the app never sees your eBay password.
Price as of October 2026: Starter $9.99 a month for 30 AI listings, Pro $24.99 for 100, Power Seller $59.99 for 300, or top-up packs of 10 for $4.99, 25 for $9.99 and 100 for $29.99 that never expire. A failed draft uses no credit, and publishing is free. It lists to eBay only.
AI Flip Ledger: sold to kept
AI Flip Ledger is the books underneath:
- Import eBay's own Transaction or Orders report (no eBay password), and quick-add Facebook or cash sales.
- It subtracts fees, labels, ad spend, refunds and cost of goods from every sale to show true net profit.
- It splits pallet and lot costs across items, evenly or by asking price, and tracks inventory aging with a weekly price review.
- It keeps a mileage log at the 2026 IRS rates, a quarterly estimated-tax planner and a live Schedule C draft.
- Its AI Advisor reads your own records and suggests what to buy more of, what to cut and which sources pay best.
Price as of October 2026: $14.99 a month or $89.99 a year, no listing limits, cancel any time.
How they fit together: one pallet, start to finish
Here is a worked example. The numbers are illustrative, not from a specific pallet.
You buy a $400 pallet with 37 items you expect to list for about $2,180 in total. Split by asking price, each item carries about 18.3% of its asking price as cost.
Listing it
You photograph the items in one batch and run drafts. With 37 items, the Pro plan's 100 monthly listings cover it, and so would one 100-listing top-up pack. At Pro pricing, the AI drafts for the whole pallet cost 37 x $0.25 = $9.25. You still read every draft, fix any wrong model numbers against the label photos, and decide every price.
Selling one item
A blender lists at $60 and sells for $58 with free shipping, to a buyer paying 8% tax ($62.64 total sale). For most eBay categories the final value fee is 13.6% of the total sale plus $0.40 per order over $10, per eBay's selling fees page, as of October 2026.
- Sale price: $58.00
- Final value fee: 13.6% of $62.64 = $8.52
- Per-order fee: $0.40
- Shipping label: $9.80
- Allocated pallet cost: $11.01
- AI listing draft: $0.25
Profit: $58.00 - $8.52 - $0.40 - $9.80 - $11.01 - $0.25 = $28.02
Knowing the pallet
That one number is easy. The hard part is the other 36 items, the two that came back as returns, the three that never sold and the gas to pick it up. AI Flip Ledger carries each item's allocated cost to its sale, so when the pallet is gone you can see whether it made money and how it compares to your other sources. That comparison is what tells you whether to bid on the next one.
Fast listing turns inventory into sales. Real profit numbers tell you which inventory to buy again.
When you need one, both or neither
Honest guidance:
- You have a backlog and your books are fine. AiListPro alone. If a spreadsheet already gives you true profit per item, keep it.
- You list quickly but cannot say what you kept. AI Flip Ledger alone. Your busiest categories are not always your most profitable ones, and only per-item numbers show the difference.
- You buy pallets or lots and list a lot each week. Both, because you have both problems.
- You sell a few items a month from around the house. Possibly neither. Listing by hand and a simple spreadsheet may be enough. AiListPro's free write-it-yourself listing and a 10-listing pack at $4.99 are a cheap way to test.
What they cost together
As of October 2026, AiListPro Pro ($24.99 a month) plus AI Flip Ledger monthly ($14.99) is $39.98 a month. With AI Flip Ledger's annual plan ($89.99 a year, about $7.50 a month), it is about $32.49 a month. They are separate subscriptions; you can start, change or cancel each one on its own.
Whether that is worth it depends on your numbers. If the listing tool gets 20 more items live a month and your average profit per item is $15, it pays for itself many times over. If it does not get more items live, it is not worth it. Measure it.
How to start without overcommitting
- Import last month's eBay report into AI Flip Ledger and find your real profit per item and your weakest source.
- Take ten items from your backlog and run them through a $4.99 AiListPro top-up pack. Time yourself.
- Decide from your own numbers.
